Police lose two prisoners en-route to the court house

In Pattaya an investigation is underway to establish how the Bunglamung Police managed to lose Khun Nuchar, 25 and Khun Jackgrit, 21 while they were transporting them to the Pattaya Court for an initial hearing into a robbery case on Monday afternoon.
Initial reports suggest that the pair were being transported to the court in the back of a regular police truck rather than a secure police prison vehicle. Reports say that as the truck reached the Sukhumvit Road in north Pattaya the two men jumped off the back of the truck and ran off, it is unclear how they managed to slip out of their handcuffs at this stage.
Eye witnesses said that they saw the two men running into a nearby woodland. Twenty officers were the called into find the men who at the time of this report are yet to be apprehended.
