Police and soldiers raiding a house on Koh Samui found five million baht worth of heroin

Police and soldiers raiding a house on Koh Samui found five million baht worth of heroin and ice methamphetamine hidden in flowerpots out front.
The house in Moo 3 Bo Phut belongs to Chaiyarat Bunseng, 34, and his wife Suthatta Saenghat, 37, who are currently held in Chaiya Prison on the mainland, reported Daily News.
Acting on information received, police said that they used search powers under Article 13 as they were concerned that the drugs would be moved if time was wasted seeking a court order.
Also found in the extensive search were many accounts books detailing drug deals in the millions.
Police have made five other arrests of gang members and seized assets making the bust worth more than ten million baht in total.
