Political Cabaret above our coffee house The Road Less Travelled in Nathon

‘We have set the world on fire.
We’ve made greed the new Messiah.’
Tickets are now on sale for our fabulously provocative Cabaret. Come indulge in an evening of creative debauchery and political confrontation: a musical with heart, mind and balls!

Performance Dates: August 23rd, 24th & 25th, 8pm – 10pm.
This performance piece is the second play created and devised by Peter Dougal through his space: found space {creative}, and is the culmination of a theatre course: 8 x 3 hour workshops initially, and then extra rehearsals, to bring the performance to the highest of standards. The performance pieces star locals from Samui (most with no performance experience). Despite the lack of experience it is found space {creative}’s mission to create professional performances, with depth and originality. We intend to create a celebrated and fertile theatrical landscape on Samui.

Our new piece is entitled A Political Resurrection: An Intertextual Cabaret and sees a collection of celebrated characters from literature and theatre, resurrected to problematise the current political situation in the West. Classic musical numbers from the Westend have also been re-imagined and wholly re-written to fit the purpose and point of our piece.
Samui should prepare itself for a theatrical event unlike anything they have encountered so far.

Tickets: 500THB (a ticket allows you to receive a 15% discount on one of our luscious cocktails – how decadent can you get?)
There will be the opportunity to book a table for a pre-theatre meal – these table spaces will be limited so please book your table, when you book your ticket.

We will keep our bar open until 11pm for more celebration and post-performance deconstruction.
PLEASE E-MAIL yourunexpectedfound@gmail.com TO BOOK YOUR TICKETS, OR TO REGISTER INTEREST FOR THE NEXT COURSE OR DROP IN SESSION. CALL 0611969882 IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.
ARE YOU READY SAMUI?
‘Way back in Greece when theatre first breathed and dawned.
Revenge and murder plots made sense of their world.
Yet politics today, would leave poor Sophocles more terrified.’
