Pony in Samui that needed community help gets prayers answered

In April a concerned Samui Times reader contacted us about a pony that looked as if it needed some help near Lomprayah Ferry and Luna Hut in Maenam. Since then a couple of residents have been able to help the pony and pay the initial 1,000 baht bill. The provincial vet has been to see the pony and has established that it has worms. The pony has now received two injections and the owner now has some pills to administer over the next few days. The pony should show signs of recovery in the next couple of weeks, the vet will be returning to monitor progress.
If anybody would like to make a small donation for the ongoing treatment of the pony please contact editor@samuitimes.com and we will put you in touch with the resident who are helping the pony.
