The Premier Sports Bar in Bangrak

The Premier Sports Bar opened its door for business in July 2008. From that point on it’s become an icon here on Koh Samui. With owners John and Tina along with manager Ian and long standing staff, the Premier Sports Bar has gone from strength to strength and the recent addition of an English chef has only enhanced a good bar into a great bar.The Premier Sports Bar shows all the English premier league live, opens early for Boxing coming in from the states and covers just about any sporting event live or as re runs, the American NFL has become even more popular since the only other bar showing it has changed owners.
Thursday nights is quiz and fun night, the general knowledge quiz starts at 8 pm and that’s followed by ” play your cards right” a simple game of guessing if the next playing card is higher or lower than the previous card, there is always a good jackpot of cash to any one able to turn over all 10 cards correctly (biggest pot was 43.000 baht ) then that’s followed by “rock n roll bingo ” same as bingo but instead of numbers being called you get snippets of music and mark off your cards that way.
Stevie Green the chef has well and truly put his mark on the island, his Sunday roasts sell out most weeks, so booking is advised. His pork ribs are a meal and a half, you need to have a good appetite or share them with a friend to get ‘em finished. Premier Bar offers free
wifi, pool table, choice of 6 satellite systems , 5 x 42″ plasma flat TV screens, 2 projector screens, ice cold beers, cocktails, food served until after midnight and lots more
