Two local Koh Samui residents, Tasana Manso and Benz Suvittayaruk members of the Junior Thailand International Team won four medals at the recent Tae Kwon Do World Championship in Bali. And two more medals at the recent SEA GAMES in Myanmar. Tasana Manso , daughter of Barrie and Tan Manso of Bang Por and Benz Suvittayaruk son of Jieu and Junthip Suvittayaruk of Chaweng, owners and operators of Bank Mart Car Rental. The two athletes are now ranked at the top of the Junior Samui Tae Kwon doWorld rankings. Tasana is ranked third in the world for Solo Junior females and Benz and partner Kate Keatatchawachai are ranked first in the Junior Pairs (under 17 yrs.old). The two Koh Samui athletes also won medals at the International Tournament in Vietnam last year.

The pair graduated from St.Joseph School in Nathon and now attend Udomsuksa High School in Bangkok where they are presently training with the Thailand International Team Both Tasana and Benz started their Tae Kwon Do career at the Koh Samui Tae Kwon Do Club in Nathon under the instruction of Coach Sadudee Deerapat who holds a 5th Degree Black Belt.
