Rain chaos in Pattaya as district chief on scene of tour bus that fell down a hole

Just an hour of rain left Pattaya in chaos yesterday with many roads submerged under floodwaters.
In North Pattaya at the end of Soi Pothisan Banglamung district chief Naris Niramaiwong rolled up his trousers and directed operations after a tour bus fell down a hole.
Barriers were supposed to be protecting the hole but they had been washed away and the driver could not see the danger.
Daily News reported that several other vehicles were damaged.
Naris ordered the area to be cordoned off before warning local residents to brace for more rains to come.
