Raja Ferry Fire

This morning a fire broke out on the Raja ferry Wang Nguen . The ferry was undergoing repair work to its hull when a fire started apparently due to welding and grinding taking place and sparks coming into contact with paint.
There were six workers on the ferry at the time of the fire and two were treated for smoke inhalation. No further injuries were reported.
The Royal Thai Navy sent a T-17 ship to assist in the firefighting efforts. The fire was put out roughly a hour later.
Raja ferry Surrathani were not available for comment on the incident and the Head office were not yet aware of the incident when Samuitimes contacted them.
