Retail giants CPN, Central, Zen, Robinson and The1Card join forces to stimulate mid-year economy with “The Greatest Grand Sale”

Bangkok, 28 May 2014 –Today, Thailand’s retail giant Central Pattana Plc or CPN, Central Department Store Ltd., Zen Department Store, Robinson Department Store Plc., The1Card together with their business partners have announced that they are spending more than 400 million baht on “The Greatest Grand Sale” campaign to stimulate purchasing power during the mid-year period. The campaign will run from 6th June to 15th July 2014 and will be a showcase of Central Group’s strong network synergy. It also marks the first time that all of the group’s shopping centers and department stores nationwide have combined forces for the biggest joint sale campaign ever. All 53 outlets – including CentralWorld and all branches of CentralPlaza, CentralFestival, Central Department Store, Zen Department Store and Robinson Department Store, together with their anchor stores and shop tenants, will be offering up to 70% discounts and special promotions. For every 1,000 baht spent during the campaign, customers also stand a chance to win a special package trip to Italy. The retail partners are confident that the campaign will help boost consumer sentiment, stimulate spending, increase traffic at the shopping centers and raise sales by 20-30% compared to non-campaign periods.
