Russian tourist arrested in Samui for smuggling 6.5 kgs of cocaine

On Saturday a Russian tourist arrived in Samui along with 6.5 kilograms of cocaine.
Lelekov Sergei, 24, arrived at Samui Airport from Singapore, when his plane landed he filed a complaint regarding two missing items of hand luggage. The bags had been handed over by Silk Air officials. On Sunday Thai customs officers checked the bags and found the drugs hidden in a secret compartment. The arrest was made on Sunday.
