A Russian woman was stabbed in the street in South Pattaya yesterday in an apparent business conflict involving two Russian restaurants.

russian-woman-stabbed-in-thailandPolice were call to rooms above the 7 – 11 in Soi Pattaya Park Sunday where 36 year old Sanna Greenburg was lying on a bed with a serious stab wound to her chest, reports Manager Online.

Medics treated her at the scene then she was taken to Pattaya Memorial Hospital.

Police soon arrested Oleg Martinov, 60, a fellow Russian, for the attack.

Police learned from a witness named Patjama Krajaem, 57, that Sanna and Oleg had had a conflict. They previously ran the “Paktopan” restaurant in the soi.

She had split up from him and opened her own restaurant just down the street called Pisora S-125. Patjama, who works for Sanna, said that Sanna’s restaurant was always full while her ex’s place was bereft of customers.

Oleg had previously come into Sanna’a restaurant to threaten her and she had reported the matter to Pattaya Police.

Yesterday it is alleged that Oleg stabbed Sanna in the street but she was able to flee to her rooms and call the police for help.
