Rock on, Kamalaya

After a full year of great events to mark their 10th anniversary, Kamalaya continues to host great events. Next week Kamalays is thrilled to welcome German blues rock musician Alex Maiorano for a series of solo acoustic concerts. Alex and his band, The Black Tales, have developed a huge following in Berlin for their high energy shows and musical styling which is reminiscent of Iggy Pop, Tom Waits and Blondie.Alex Maiorano Acoustic Concert
Tuesday 2nd February, Friday 5th February and Sunday 7th February
20.30 at the Yantra HallThis event is 300 baht to join with all proceeds going toward Kamalaya’s Charity Fund

When he’s not playing with The Black Tales, Alex Maiorano takes his guitar and love to travel and plays in small smokey bars, clubs and anywhere else he gets the chance. Influenced by blues, early soul and latin rhythms he has arranged a set that melts charming ballads, dirty major blues and primitive rock and roll – often performed with a whiskey by his side and big black hat on his head.

Alex’s band, The Black Tales, released their first studio album, Everything Boom, in September 2015 to many positive reviews.
