Samui MTB Racing Team‘ with three national champions

On the 22nd of August three young Samuian mountain bikers won the national championship title in Sukthothai. All three members are part of a fifty member club owned and presided over by Khun Sa-ard Panyawan, the owner of Saardswatersports.
The club members practice every afternoon after school near Bankrak in a large practice area that is kindly donated free of charge by a member of our community. Training starts at 17.00 p.m. and is free for all – for resident’s kids or tourists who can take their own mountain bike along.
Champions were being ‘crowned’ in a series of six races throughout Thailand over a four months period the last race having taken place in Sukhothai on 22th of August.
Tida Panyawan won girls class under 12, her sister Natalie girls under 16 and another Samui child named Tanawat Petsut boys class under 12. The can call themselves now Thailand Mountainbike Champions 2015.
