Samui prosecutor gives the police one month to make a case against the suspects of murdered German

Yesterday, Monday 17th of November, was technically the last day the suspects in the murder of Volker Schwartges, the 46 year old German man from Duesseldorf who was stabbed to death in Chaweng, could he held in detention at the Samui Provincial Prison.
A German correspondent at the courts yesterday reported that no case was brought forward against the suspects and it was expected that they would be released, other reports suggested that one of the suspects was in fact not being detained at the jail but was let out on bail two months ago. However today it has been reported that Prosecutor in Chief Paibul Achawanantakul as given the police one month to submit their case against the accused, it is believed this report will implicate a further suspect in the case. The prosecutor believes that there is enough evidence to put all of the accused on trial for the murder of Volker Schwartges.
Today the German Tabloid Duesseldorfer Express covered this story on its front page, adding media pressure to bring the perpetrators of the murder to justice.
