Samui rescue proudly deliver twins in a car in Maenam

Yesterday, 5th of January the Samui Volunteer rescue team were called to a car near Soi 7 in Maneam to assist a lady in childbirth. On arrival they found Mrs Boomrung Walker in labour. Her German husband had been driving her to the hospital after she suffered severe abdominal pains, however the twins, both boys, decided not to wait until they reached the hospital to put in an appearance. Pi Duang of Samui rescue helped to deliver the twins who weighed in at 2.2 kilos each.
Both mother and twins were then taken to the hospital where they are doing well. The boys are yet to be named – the parents thanked the Samui Rescue heartily for their incredible service.
