“Samui Snake and Wildlife Rescue faces a lack of funds”

Samui-based non-profit could be in trouble if it doesn’t find a source of funding and regular donations soon.Philip J Brook, the man behind Samui Snake and Wildlife Rescue started his volunteer relocation service on the island 12 years ago.
Getting only tips from the residents he helps on a regular basis, Philip doesn’t get any funding or government help. All the expenses he is facing are coming from his own pocket.
Koh Samui is overdeveloped now and the environment and wildlife are suffering greatly. He now gets calls for all kind of animals including gibbons, slow loris and even pangolins.
Philip says the organization needs to keep going as he is the only guy doing this on the island.
