In 1977 the Pupaiboon family decided to develop their hotel business and what was then known as Peace Bungalows were built on the outskirts of Bophut. Today, known as The Peace Resort, after its renovation in 2007, this wonderful hotel with its contemporary Thai architecture that reflects local traditions and craftsmanship continues to thrive.
The Peace Resort occupies a fabulous beachfront location that along with the unparalleled staff service has been delighting guests, new and returning for over thirty years. Not only does the resort offer resident guests some ideally located accommodation it offers residents and non-resident guests the opportunity to enjoy culinary delights in the Sea Wrap restaurant.
Owned and managed by the Pupaiboon family the level of service here is nothing in not consistent and many of the staff joined when the resort was first established and there are few that have not been part of the team for many years. One newcomer however is the Chef Azizkandar who has updated the menu and the kitchen and is now delighting diners with international cuisine with a focus on French and Italian flavors combined with Thai favorites.
The Sea Wrap restaurant is right on the ocean front and has spectacular views of Koh Phanang. The décor in the restaurant is stylish, tables on the beach allow for romantic beach dining (limited numbers), and the bar and beach bean bag areas are ideal for pre and post dinner drinks.
