Severe weather warning

Today the Thai Meteorological Department has issued a severe weather warning, predicting heavy rainfall and strong wind and waves.
The warning read
“The strong monsoon trough lies across the lower North, the upper Central and the lower Northeast to the low pressure cell in the South China Sea while the intense southwest monsoon remains. Torrential rain and heavy to very heavy falls in many places are expected over the country, and the strong wind waves with 2-3 meters high are likely in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf. People should beware of heavy rain. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during 11-14 June”
