Sisters on Samui provide vital emergency equipment for the Samui Rescue Team

On Wednesday 21st the Sisters on Samui enjoyed a superb lunch at the Satsuman Japanese restaurant in the Bophut Fisherman’s village.
While they were there the Samui Rescue team came along with a few volunteers to demonstrate the use for the equipment that had been brought with funds raised by the Sisters on Samui. The sixty thousand baht has been used to provide items such as reflector jackets, body boards manufactured without metals so patients can be transferred directly from the ambulance to an X-ray machine, neck braces, arm and leg supports and two proper radio systems that are connected to the police on the island.
The Samui Rescue play a vital role in Koh Samui, their services and volunteers have saved countless lives on the island and thanks to the donation of this equipment we can all feel a little safer.
