Special Needs School Samui – ground breaking ceremony

Sunday the 25th January saw the long awaited start to the construction of the new Special Needs School here on the island. A colourful ceremony at which the Mayor, Khun Ramnate along with land donor Khun Ngoen Wichaidist and other dignitaries addressed the many guests and supporters began at 2pm and concluded with the pouring of the first concrete foundation stone. These events being blessed by Pra Mongkol Theepacharn, Abbot of Wat Jarn.
With the continued kindness and generosity of past and future supporters it is hoped that completion of the building can be achieved by around July this year.
