A very special wedding in Nathon

On the 11th of April at 5pm a very special wedding took place in Nathon. The marriage of Fredrik Asp and Meryem Mia Ozer, owners of the View restaurant in Nathon had a location like no other, on the sand bar directly opposite the restaurant.
As the sun started to set the monks waded out to the sand bar followed by the congregation and then by the bride who arrived in style on top of an elephant. She was followed by a man with a ladder to help her get down.
At the beginning of the ceremony, led by the couples business partner Andre Russell, doves were released, before vows were exchanged.
This unique location certainly made for a very special occasion and some very memorable photographs.
After the ceremony couple and their guests enjoyed a wedding reception at The View.
