‘Spoilt kid’ Thai man, 20, gets six months after tantrum over cash for a big bike

A spoilt Thai man compared to the “luuk thep” doll has been sentenced after admitting criminal damage because mummy wouldn’t give him money for a motorbike.
The swift justice follows a case of damage to a car parked in a Sisaket education authority car park on Tuesday. Apparently damage had been caused by the man many times before, police said.
Kitisak (Jay) Wonglert, 20, had admitted taking a rock to the car and was arrested on a warrant issued earlier, reports Daily News.
Yesterday a court in Sisaket jailed him for six months, reduced to three on his admission of the crime, and ordered him to pay compensation of 20,000 baht to the vehicle owner.
Kitisak was angry because his mum wouldn’t hand over 500,000 baht so he could buy a CBR motorcycle so decided to damage the car in the car park.
Luuk thep dolls have frequently been in the news this year and are dolls that doting owners treat like real people.
