Spurned husband shoots wife and parents dead then himself – but little girl aged 3 survives

A husband trying to get back together with his wife went armed to find her at her parents’ house.
There he shot her dead and both her parents. But a little girl shot in the leg survived. The shooter then turned the gun on himself.
Khok Kham, Samut Sakhon, police who arrived at the house in Suan Palm housing estate in Muang district Tuesday found a horrific scene in a downstairs bedroom.
In the room amid a large amount of blood they found four people dead. These were Yerm, 67, his wife Somporn, 60, their daughter Waleerat, 33 and their son-in-law Woradech, also 33.
They recovered two .38 guns and one 9mm. Outside the bedroom were more blood trails and a lot of shell casings.
They also found a girl aged 3 shot in the leg. She was not identified.
Yerm and Somporn’s son Issaraporn, 37, said that the shooter was Woradech. His sister had left him a month ago but he kept threatening her. His sister also had a problem with Woradech’s mother.
Neighbor’s said that Woradech had arrived at the house and demanded to be let in calling outside for ten minutes.
He had then vaulted the fence and when no one let him in and after more shouting he kicked in the front door.
Some five minutes later there were shouts and about ten shots rang out amid anguished cries for help. They could then hear the sobbing of a female.
Woradech then came out and went to his car before returning to the house. Two more shots rang out and then it was all quiet.
Khok Kham police chief Pongsak Sapla-or said it appeared to be a case of a spurned husband who tried and failed to get back together with his wife.
Investigations continue.
