Suitcase with Bt30 million of ice found in a bush ten meters from the street

A security guard at a factory in Ayutthaya made a surprise discovery when he discovered a suitcase hidden in a thick bush close to the road. Bunhom Wongchania, 46, was on his way to do a spot of fishing in an irrigation canal hoping to enjoy a spot of lunch from his catch when came across a suspicious looking suitcase, he tried to open the case but was unable to do so, at this point he called the rescue operation centre. Later the police arrived on the scene and found eleven bags of ‘ice’ weighing one kilogram each, another bag was found outside the suitcase. The police took the bags away for investigation and fingerprinting, they suspect the drugs were smuggled from the north or northeast and were destined to be sold in Bangkok, they assume the smugglers realized they were being followed and hid the drugs with the intention of retrieving them later in the day.
