Swedish man found dead at Bangkok hotel

A Swedish man was found dead on the ground floor of a Bangkok-based hotel on Sunday.
Staff said the 48-year-old foreigner checked into the hotel by himself on Saturday.
“A search at his room found nothing unusual. There’s neither sign of a fight nor any suicide note. His valuables remain in the room,” a hotel official said on condition of anonymity.
Police did not rule out the possibility that the man might have jumped to his death from his room, which was on the seventh floor.
The Swedish Embassy in Bangkok has already been informed of the death and will contact his relatives.
