Tattoos may lead to the identification of a foreign man who washed up onto the shore this morning | Samui Times

The body of what is believed to be a foreign man washed up on Pansea beach this morning and the police in Phuket are trying to establish his identity. The gruesome discover was made by Santisuck Patkhim, a beach guard at the Amanpuri Resort. On the discovery of the body Mr. Santisuck called the Kusoldharm Foundation rescue workers to help bring the body to shore. He told the local paper in Phuket “so far our hotel has not received any reports of missing guests”

dead body tattooThe body has two tattoos that may be key in his identification according to Lt Col Rassada Kluengwong of the Cherng Talay Police, one tattoo on the back of the left hand looks like a letter and another on the inner right forearm pictures a sword through a heart.

The body has been transferred to the hospital for examination. Meanwhile checks at local hotels for missing guests are being carried out by local police.
