THAI drops prices for weekday Phuket-Bangkok flights

Thai Airways International is dumping its prices for people who book well in advance to fly on five major domestic routes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays.
One of the routes is Bangkok-Phuket, which currently costs a minimum of B3,015 for an economy class ticket.
But passengers who book before March 8 for Monday-Thursday travel between May 18 to July 15 or between August 22 and October 15, can get the same flight for B1,290.
Anyone booking on the same terms for flights between Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Krabi or Haad Yai, will pay just B1,090.
The prices are close to those offered by Air Asia from Bangkok to Phuket (B890 – B1,383 on May 18 if booked today) but still substantially more than the same date and route on Nok Air (B694.39). But THAI offers 30 kilos of free luggage allowance whereas Nok offers 15 kilos and AirAsia none at that price.
The low THAI fares include airport tax and surcharges. Mileage may be accrued based on Royal Orchid Plus conditions.
