Thai man dies in Phuket massage parlour

A 59-year-old Thai man died during a visit to a massage parlour in Phuket Town’s redlight area Phoonpon last night (Oct 18). Police have yet to confirm the cause of death.
Phuket City Police received a call from staff at the Euro massage parlour on Phoonpon Rd in Talad Neur at 9pm yesterday stating that a man had died in one of their rooms.
Police arrived at the scene with Kusolharm rescue workers and were led to the room where the body of 59-year-old Boonsong Srisa-ard was lying face up on the bed. Police said there were no signs of foul play, assault or robbery.
Police learned that Mr Boonsong had gone for a massage and ordered a beer to take to the room. The masseuse, whose name has not been revealed, said the victim went to the bathroom after finishing the drank beer and vomited.
