Thai police arrest foreign con men preying on elderly Thai/Chinese

Police in Bangkok have announced the arrest of two Chinese men preying on the gullibility of old Chinese/Thai people.
Li Peng, 48, and Li Cai Hong were arrested Saturday while trying to befriend elderly people in the fresh food market in Lat Prao Soi 51.
But three other fraudsters managed to run off.
The two fraudsters were persuading Chinese speaking Thais who believe in Chinese mysticism to part with money.
Chock Chai area police said they had stolen about a million baht and gone back to China to spend it before returning to Thailand to get more victims.
