Thai Smile plane hits gangway in Chiang Mai airport

A Thai Smile Airways plane was slightly damaged when one of its wings hit the Gate 5 gangway at Chiang Mai international airport this morning.
ut all the 48 passengers on board Flight WE150 from Don Mueang airport were not hurt.
They all disembarked from the plane safely to the airport.
According to Chiang Mai airport official, the plane skidded as it was taxing on the taxiway to connect with the airport’s Gate 5 terminal.
The left wing of the plane hit the gangway but caused no injury to passengers inside.
The incident happened at about 9.30 am.
An investigation team will be set up to find the exact cause of the incident.
