Thai woman stabs British man after he tried to end their relationship

A Thai woman has been arrested after stabbing her British boyfriend because he told her he wanted to end their relationship.
Wassana Karndee, 38, from Korat, stabbed Kim Patrick Fuller, 67, in the stomach with a 22cm fruit knife at their room at the Diana-Estate Condominium on Soi Buakhao in Pattaya before 7pm on Friday.
Mr Fuller managed to escape the scene and was able to alert locals. He was taken to Pattaya Memorial Hospital where is remains in a stable condition, Komchadluek reported.
After carrying out the attack Wassana then changed her clothes and fled the scene. She was later found hiding in a nearby alleyway and eventually arrested on Soi Taengmor in Pattaya.
She confessed to the attack, telling police she was angry when Mr Fuller told her he wanted to end their relationship of three years.
Wassana has been charged with assault and causing serious injury. She is due before to appear before Pattaya Court next week.
Meanwhile, doctors said that while Mr Fuller received a serious injury he is out of danger but his condition still needs to be monitored closely.
Speaking to reporters he Mr Fuller praised police for the speed in which they arrested Wassana.
