Thais and Russians nabbed in Phuket anti-drug campaign

Kathu police went out at 1am this morning to continue with an ongoing anti-drug and -crime campaign being carried out throughout the Vegetarian Festival and targeted an area known for drug activity.
The six arrested were named as Worapon Uttama, 24, with .35 grams of ya ice; Sirapatsorn Meunkajon, 20, .40 grams of ya ice; Chanukan Srithong, 23, with .30 grams of ya ice; Evan Klepinskovski, 29, with 4.23 grams of marijuana; Nikola Klesko, 30, with 4.33 grams of marijuana and Maxim Fedorenko, 27, with 4.03 grams of marijuana.
All six were taken to Patong Police Station where Worapon, Sirapatsorn and Chanukan were charged with illegal possession of a Category 1 drug and Evan, Nikola and Maxim were charged with illegal possession of a Category 5 drug.
