Three Chinese arrested for stealing on Suvarnabhumi Airport Link train

Yesterday the tourist police announced that three Chinese nationals have been arrested in connection with the theft of valuables on the Suvarnabhumi Airport Link train. Feng Huafeng, 31, Liu Xiaocheng, 28 and Bai Chengming, 34, have all been charged with stealing from other passengers. The three were presented to the media with 180,000bt in various different currencies, two Thai AMT cards, five cards from other countries, a bag and five smart phones.
The men were arrested on Wednesday evening at the Airport Link station in the terminals underground after a Swedish national filed a complaint last Monday after having a credit card and 20,000 baht in cash stolen. The men have denied the charges even though the Swedish national’s belongings were discovered in their hotel room.
The police identified the criminals from CCTV footage on the train.
