Tourist associations from Samui and Phuket team up to promote Thailand in Australia

For the first time every tourist associations from both Samui and Phuket have teamed up to promote Thai tourism in Australia.
Earlier this month both teams joined in the Phuket & Samui Roadshow Table Top Sale in Melbourne. The group was hosted by Jirachai Panrasin, Thailand’s ambassador to Australia and Thai Consul General in Sydney Teerathep Promwongsanon during the weeklong event.
Senee Puwasetthaworn, the Koh Samui Tourist Association President said that such events are vital in promoting the two islands to Australian tourists. Sathirapong Na Takuatoon, the Phuket Tourist Association President said that the event shows that they are focused and concerned with the Australian market.
“We are guaranteeing qualified hotels and services, as well as safety and security. We strongly believe that after this roadshow, Phuket and Samui will gain Australian tourists and are ready to welcome them,” Mr Senee said.
