Tourists deaths in Thailand this festive season

This morning two Indian tourist were killed and eight more injured when a minivan rammed into the back of a water truck on an elevated motorway heading towards Suvarnabhumi airport, the Thai driver of the vehicle also lost his life. The party were heading to Phuket. Some of those injured were the relatives of Indian diplomats to Thailand. The water truck involved in the collision was watering flowers and plants when it was hit at speed from the rear, the injured were taken to Walailak hospital.
In a spate incident a man was killed after being hit by a bus on Sukhumvit Road near soi 5 on Saturday, EMT’s and passers by did their best to save the man after the accident that occurred around 6-30pm, however despite their efforts he succumbed to his injuries. Eye witness accounts suggest the man was aged around 50 and suffered a severe head injury.
