Tropical storm wreaks havoc in several provinces over the weekend

Repair efforts are now underway in several provinces after homes were destroyed by a tropical storm over the past weekend.
In Nong Khai, the provincial governor, Suchart Noppawan, traveled to Pho Chai and Kom Ko sub-districts to survey the damage. More than 19 homes were affected by the storm. Relevant agencies and a group of soldiers are currently helping the residents repair their homes and restore power.
Meanwhile, Nong Bua Lamphu Governor Thanakorn Ungjitpaisan distributed relief bags, drinking water, and blankets to people in the municipality, Na Wang, Na Klang and Suwan Kuha districts. Their homes were damaged by gusty winds.
In Uthai Thani, the 4th Infantry Regiment deployed a team of soldiers to Huai Khot district to help the locals fix their homes. Essential items were also provided to the locals to help them cope with the situation.
