Two arrested in the body in a bin bag in the boot of a taxi case

Two men from Myanmar have been arrested in connection with the dead body left in a bin bag in the boot of a taxi in Bangkok, the victim was also from Myanmar. The suspects have been identified s Chi San Maung, 36, and Ta Kyi 27, the victim has been identified as 43 year old Tan Nya Buk.
Chi San Muang was arrested yesterday in Nothaburi’s Bang Yai district, Ta Kyi was arrested near the house where the victim was killed.
Cab driver Petsikiew alerted the authorities at around 1pm on Tuesday after finding the body in the boot of his car, he said the suspects had flagged him down at Soi Panunpon in Samuts Sakhon’s Muang district and asked to be taken to the Samaedum area, before they got into the car they asked to put a large bin bag in the boot of the car. The passengers then requested to be dropped off at Rama II road to make a phone call but quickly disappeared. The cabbie later realized they had not taken their luggage from the boot and on closer inspection discovered it contained a dead body.
When the men were arrested the police found the metal rods that had been used to kill the victim still in their possession, they also found signs of a struggle and blood in the victims room.
The suspects have apparently confessed to killing the man for reportedly embezzling the Bt17,000 they had paid for a work permit
