Two arrests made in the biker murder in Pattaya | Samui Times

In a further development in the case of the murdered biker in Pattaya police have confirmed that two arrests have been made. One was an American man who was about to leave the country via a land border, the other was the wife of the initial Australian suspect, it is believed he has fled the country and was the main instigator of the crime.

As well as the two arrests further details have emerged with regards to the hire vehicle used for the abduction and later transportation of the dead body. Khun Manop is the owner of the car that was hired from Soi Xyzte in central Pattaya. He said the Toyota Vigo was rented out at 5,000 baht a day from November the 28th until December 3rd. The person who rented the truck was the wife of the Australian who has left the country. Her name has been withheld from the media.

The vehicle was located via its GPS tracker in Soi Kasetsin 5 of the Pratamnuk Road on Wednesday morning and forensically examined. The detained Thai woman told police that her husband had asked to delete all text messages with regards to the rental from the phone, but denied any involvement or knowledge of the crime.
