Two drug couriers busted in Surat Thani on Sunday

On Sunday `14th of September police in Surat Thni arrested a man and a woman at a checkpoint in the Ban Nasan district of Surat Thani province with 240,000 methamphetamine pills in their possession. The pair were identified as Ahammad Suepae, 46adn Sarinya Sakon 32 both from Narathiwat province. They were apprehended after a pick-up truck they were travelling in was stopped for a routine search at the checkpoint. The drugs were discovered in the spare tyre of the vehicle. The suspects confessed to having the drugs that they said they took passion of from a man called Dam at the Rama 2 road branch of Tesco in Bangkok. They told the police that they were paid 200,000 baht to deliver the drugs to somebody in Yala.
