Two motorcyclists killed in collision with cement truck in Nathon Koh Samui

This morning Monday 17th of August two motorcyclists were involved in a collision with an eight wheeled cement truck in Nathon. The accident occurred on the beach road close to the exit ramp of the Seatran Ferry. It has been reported that CCTV footage shows a bike with one driver and one passenger getting caught in between two trucks while overtaking. The two Thai nationals involved in the collision were both killed at the scene. – Update – we have now received reports that one teenage female and one teenage male were killed at the scene. Both victims were absent from school, their uniforms were under the seat. It is believed the young lady was meant to be attending the Samui School, the young man the Tipparat School in Maenam. Reports also suggest the driver of the truck has been arrested.
