Two more Russians lose their lives while on vacation on Thailand

Only days after a young Russian boy succumbed to his injuries and died following the ferry disaster in Pattaya, two more Russians have been killed in a car accident on the Nakhon – Surat Road in Nakon Si Thammarat province.
The accident occurred on Thursday after the driver reportedly dozed off and crashed the vehicle into a large tree. When police and rescue workers arrived at the scene they found two Russian nationals trapped inside the badly damaged car. They were later identified as Mr. Muttafan aged 35 and Ms.Aya aged 28. A third Russian tourist was found nearby, Ms. Ira, aged 28, who is believed to have been thrown from the car on impact.
The three were rushed to Sichon Hospital where Mr. Muffatfan and Ms. Ira later died. Initial investigations reveal that the victims, all related to each other, were on holiday in Thailand and previously been in Koh Samui before travelling to Malayisa.
The accident occurred on their journey back to Samui from Malaysia when Mr. Muffafan fell asleep while driving, the car span off the road before hitting the tree according to police officers.
