UK couple attacked by bargirl in Pattaya after Brit says he could get cheaper drinks in 7/11

Video footage has emerged of an attack on a British man and his companion at a Pattaya beer bar last night.
A woman working at the bar takes a shoe and smashes a 63 year old man in the face before chasing him. She pulls a woman’s dress then continues to assault the man with fists and feet, reported Siamchon News.
The attack came after she said the man refused to pay the full bill because he could get the drinks cheaper in a convenience store.
UK tourist David Lodge, 63, reported the attack to Pattaya police at 1.30 am this morning. He had a black eye and a cut to his forehead.
Following this a police patrol was sent to the Patsy Bar Beer in Soi 8 of Pattaya Sai 2.
There they interviewed Rungnapa Pleumjai, 43, a native of Udon who was serving at the counter.
She said that a group of foreigners had come drinking in the bar. But after the bill was added up a man refused to pay all of it because the bar was selling at a price higher than a convenience store.
She said she explained that this was a beer bar so of course it was higher but till the man later known as David Lodge would not pay. She admitted hitting him in the face with a shoe as she was furious.
She was taken to the police station where thereafter the video footage emerged of her hitting the tourist then chasing him and his companion down the soi where the attack continued. She is seen pulling the dress of a woman then further assaulting the UK tourist in a rage.
She was charged with assault causing serious bodily harm. Siamchon News reported the incident saying it had damaged the image of Pattaya.
