Update from the Dog and Cat Rescue Samui Foundation

We have good news and bad news this month
Firstly we would like to give a very special THANK YOU to DJ Blair who gave an amazing stage performance at Lamai’s walking street market on the 15th September. DJ Blair stood on stage for two hours and has helped to collect the great amount of 4,960 Baht that night.
Secondly we are sad to say that with regards to the missing dogs Max and Maxime Unfortunately, until now we have found only the dog MAXIME at the Pinnacle Resort, Maenam.
We have printed reward papers and walked down the beach from Pinnacle far beyond the Manaem temple. We have spoken to the manager of the Pinnacle Resort who is very co-operative and wants to inform us when Max shows up or if he has problems with dogs on the beach. There will always be dogs on the beach of the Pinnacle because the temple is not far away and it is also right on the beach. Some tourists stay in that area just because of the dogs and are always look forward to seeing their favourite pet again when they return to Koh Samui.
We are very worried what will become of Maxime? She is now in our shelter. Must she remain there for the rest of her lifetime? She has lived with Max on the beach at the Boathouse for almost 10 happy years and they are the darling pets of many regulars of the Boathouse. Please check again if you see MAX (the black dog on the photo). We offer 1000 Baht reward!

Thank you very much for all your help. We hope we can count on your continued support so that we can make even more progress in the future. We believe our efforts to make Koh Samui more animal-friendly have made it a happier and safer place for tourists, for which the tourists are grateful. Our four-legged friends are most grateful for your contribution!
Best wishes
