Upskirt man fined 10,000 baht for taking picture of uni girl’s panties

A man in Songkhla has been fined 10,000 baht after he was caught taking upskirt shots at a university.
Pongsak, 35, a delivery man, turned himself in to Khor Hong cops yesterday after a summons was issued.
He has said he was drunk and couldn’t resist it.
He had been at an agricultural fair at Songkhla Nakharin University. He was spotted by a member of the public taking pictures after putting his phone in a paper bag with a hole in it.
The person whispered to the victim what had happened and she then took a picture of Pongsak.
Pongsak from Bang Klam district arrived with relatives at the police station with his phone. There was no memory card – it had been destroyed by a security guard to the fair, reported Sanook.
He admitted what he had done and was fined the top amount possible under Article 397 related to causing annoyance.
The victim who was also present at the police station forgave him but suggested he get help.
She said the matter was now over but warned other women to be on the lookout for deviants taking pictures of their smalls.
Pongsak refused to talk to Sanook but they noted that he had previously gone on Facebook to say that when he committed the crime he was drunk and couldn’t resist the urge.
