Vendor killed, 4 patrons injured as truck hits noodle stall

A roadside noodle vendor was killed and four patrons were severely injured when a 10-wheel truck ploughed into a food stall on a Samut Prakan road early on Wednesday.
The Bang Kaew police station was informed of the accident at 1am.
Police and rescuers of the Ruamkatanyu foundation rushed to the scene in front of the Federal Electric Co Ltd in Tambon Raja Theva in Bang Plee district to tend to the victims.
The stall owner, who has yet to be unidentified, was found dead under the truck.
One of the injured was found under the front left tyre and three others under the truck. Police have yet to identify the victims.
The shop was selling noodles to night-shift workers of the factory.
A female employee of the shop said the owner was cooking a bowl of noodles when the truck swept into the stall.
The truck driver fled the scene.
