W Koh Samui Hosted an Inauguration to Celebrate the Opening of Honorary Consulate of the Russian Federation in Surat Thani

The Embassy of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Thailand recently opened the newest Honorary Consulate in Koh Samui for Surat Thani province at W Koh Samui hotel, in addition to the two offices of Russian Honorary Consulates in Thailand; the Pattaya office for Chonburi and Rayong provinces opened in 2003 and the Phuket office opened in 2008.
Mr. Ashwani Bajaj (2nd left), newly appointed Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Surat Thani province joined hands to welcome the ambassador, H.E. Dr. Kirill Barsky (3rd right) and his spouse, Mrs. Olga Barskaya (2nd right) during the inauguration to celebrate the opening of the office of the Russian Honorary Consulate in Surat Thani province at W Koh Samui, together with Mr. Oleg Grigorev (left), the Deputy Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Surat Thani, Ms. Rasina Bajaj (3rd left) and Mr. Daniel Simon (right), General Manager of W Koh Samui.
With an aim to highlight and promote Koh Samui as one of the top destinations for Russian travelers, the Honorary Consulate office in Koh Samui will offer the assistance to protect the rights and legitimate interests of Russian travelers and residents in Surat Thani province.
