Weather warning Tropical Storm WUTIP

At 10am typhoon WUTIP centered 350 kilometers east of Nakhon Phanom Province at latitude 17.2 degree north, longitude 108.5 degree East and is moving west at a speed of approximately 20km/hr with sustained winds of about 120km. It is expected to make landfall over Hue, Vietnam on 30th September. Thereafter, it will quickly decline before travelling to Nakhon Phanom, Thailand. The storm is expected to bring heavy rain to both the North and Northeast. Provinces include Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Kalasin, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Udon Thani, Nong Bua Lamphu, Loei, Khon Kaen, chaiyaphum, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun. This afternoon and outbreak of heavy rain is expected.
The strong southwest monsoon will bring torrential rain along the south west coast, as well as stronger wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. All ships should proceed with caution.
