Well known female police motorcycle outrider in hospital after collision in Chumphon

A policewoman motorcycle outrider who has been part of a detail protecting VIPs is in a serious condition in a Chumphon hospital after a collision with another motorcycle.
A 64 year old man on the other bike died.
“Muat Pheung” – otherwise known as Wanwisa Theerapanyachai, 36 – was on her way to Bangkok from the south on a BMW F800GS German Auto.
She collided with Prajak Phrombangkert, 64, on a Yamaha Spark. He was given CPR at the scene in Tha Se district but was pronounced dead in hospital.
The accident occurred at kilometer maker 472 on the Petchkasem Highway.
Pheung has facial injuries and may require surgery. Her family want her flown to Bangkok. She has so far been unable to give an account of the accident.
She was a manager of an AIS shop in Chitlom and a manager at Central before she decided on a career change and joined the police and trained to be a motorcyclist.
She took park as one of only three women out of 80 participants in the Ironman Rally, a motorcycle event from Phuket to Chiang Mai earlier this month.
