Wire thief found electrocuted in Bangkok field

A man suspected of stealing electrical wiring was found dead in a field in the Nong Jork area of Bangkok yesterday.
Police said he was likely electrocuted while he was up a power pole.
Nong Jork police and medics from several foundations found the bloated corpse of 34 year old Klong 12 resident Songsak Saengarun lying next to a power pole , reports Thairath.
The body was covered in black burns and medics assessed he had been dead for at least three days.
Next to the body was a bag containing cutters and wire. The body was found in a field behind the Al Hidayah mosque on Soi Mitr Maitree 6.
Police said that the victim was likely electrocuted while stealing wire. The body was sent for autopsy to confirm the cause of death.
