Woman involved in fatal Chiang Mai road accident wants to say sorry before meeting police

The woman who police say is responsible for the death of two people in Chiang Mai has said she will meet with police some time this week.

Wijitra Pukbunreuang, 25, said she was going to the funeral of TV show host and stylist Jatupat “Centimetre” Khemnak at Wat Rangsee Sophon in Nakorn Nayok.
She intended to apologize to the corpse and say sorry to his mum and dad.
Then she’d be back to face charges of negligent driving causing death.
Centimetre and his friend Supakit Kerdsam, a store manager, both died after plunging into a klong in a CRV.
Police said earlier that the Vios driver’s actions in driving straight on in a turning lane caused the accident.
Phuphing police plan to issue a summons if “Vios Woman” – as she is known in the Thai media – fails to show up, reported Daily News.
